PROBLEMS TO SOLVE

a) Prevent noxious gas emissions
b) Prevent noxious or other solid particulate emissions
c) Prevent pollutant liquid droplets or mist particles from being emitted
d) Prevent pollutant odour emissions

DESIGN SOLUTIONS

  1. Counter-current packed bed scrubbers, single stage (see Packed Bed Gas Scrubber Fig.1 below) or double stage (see Packed Bed Gas Scrubber Fig.2 below) – recommended usually for (a) and (d).
  2. High Energy Venturi scrubbers, with 2nd stage cyclone vessel (see Venturi Gas Scrubber Fig.2 below) – recommended usually for (a) and (b).
  3. Eductor Venturi scrubbers (see Eductor Venturi Gas Scrubber Fig.3 below) – recommended usually for (b) and (c) when gas is hot/sticky.
  4. Becoflex Rotary Brush scrubber range (see schematics below) – recommended usually for (b), (c) and (d).
